REWA was selected to lead a Meet the Leader session at the inaugural Annual Meeting of Global Future Leaders in Dubai, convened by the World Economic Forum and the Government of the United Arab Emirates, in cooperation with the Dubai Future Foundation. She was in conversation with Angelle Siyang-Le, Director of Art Basel Hong Kong.

The session explored the argument at the heart of Embodied Spirits: Masquerades of Igboland: that African culture is too often met behind glass, and that behind every masquerade is an economy of makers whose value goes uncounted. It followed the series’ presentation in Lagos in September by the Aliko Dangote Foundation with the World Economic Forum.
