REWA became the first African artist in the 66-year history of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to design its official poster. Her piece, inspired by the Igbo Agbogho Mmuo (Dancing Maiden Spirit), merges African iconography with the cultural vibrancy of the Canary Islands — a celebration of two living traditions finding one another across the Atlantic.
